Engineering Surveyor - FIFO / Metro Opportunities

Perth Metro & FIFO Opportunities | 2:1 & 2:2 Rosters | Permanent Positions | $116k-$157k + Super + Vehicle / Uplift

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading Australian civil engineering contractor delivering major projects across the defence, infrastructure, resources and energy sectors.

Due to continued project growth, they are looking for experienced

Engineering Surveyors to join their team across a range of major projects throughout Western Australia.

There are opportunities available for surveyors looking for a Perth Metro-based position, as well as those seeking

FIFO work on 2:1 or 2:2 rosters with site uplifts of up to 30% depending on the project.

You'll work alongside experienced engineering and construction teams, playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys including set-out, measurements, elevations and alignment checks
• Interpret engineering drawings, construction plans and technical specifications
• Operate and maintain modern surveying equipment including GPS, total stations and laser scanners
• Work closely with Engineers, Project Managers and site teams to ensure construction accuracy
• Prepare survey reports, documentation and as-built drawings
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project specifications, safety and quality requirements
• Assist with planning, risk assessments and resolving survey-related issues onsite
• Maintain accurate survey records and deliver data within project timeframes

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline
• 3+ years' experience in Engineering Surveying, ideally within the civil, infrastructure, mining or resources sectors in WA
• Strong experience using GPS, total stations and modern surveying technology
• Ability to confidently interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
• Proficiency with relevant survey software and data processing tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Previous FIFO experience highly regarded for FIFO opportunities
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical requirements
• Full Australian working rights
