ABOUT THE ROLE
As GGC’s Bid Manager, you'll lead major pursuits across renewable generation, grid connections, substations, transmission and battery storage projects. Working alongside some of the industry's best technical and commercial specialists, you'll shape winning strategies, develop market-leading proposals and secure the projects that drive Green Grid Connect's continued growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the end-to-end bid process for major EPC, BOP and high-voltage infrastructure opportunities.
- Developing winning strategies that align client needs with Green Grid Connect's technical capabilities and commercial strengths.
- Reviewing tender documentation and translating requirements into clear delivery and pricing strategies.
- Coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, legal and commercial teams to develop high-quality, competitive submissions.
- Engaging with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to gather market intelligence, secure pricing and strengthen project solutions.
- Assessing project risks, opportunities, methodologies, schedules and delivery approaches.
- Negotiating commercial and contractual terms through to award and financial close.
- Building strong relationships across the business and leveraging the capabilities of our broader international group to deliver best-in-class proposals.

What You'll Bring
- Experience managing bids, tenders, proposals or business development pursuits within the renewable energy, energy or major infrastructure sectors.
- A solid understanding of the Australian energy market, renewable energy industry and/or high-voltage electrical infrastructure.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, risks and winning strategies.
- Confidence working autonomously, prioritising competing demands and maintaining momentum in a fast-growing environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
- The ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality bid submissions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.
