About The Opportunity

Administration Officer to join our Development Services team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support for planning and development processes, assist customers and stakeholders with enquiries, and contribute to the efficient delivery of services that support the growth and development of our community.

To be successful in the role you will need the following:
- Experience in an administrative support role, preferably within planning, development, local government, property, construction, regulatory services, or a similar environment.
- High-level computer skills, including experience using databases, records management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately process information and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with Content Manager and/or Civica Authority will be highly regarded.
On a Typical Day This Role Will
- Respond to customer enquiries relating to planning and development matters.
- Prepare and issue fees associated with development applications and undertake administrative processes associated with bonds.
- Generate Planning Certificates and other development-related documentation.
- Receive, register, and process development applications and supporting documentation.
- Process requests for copies of development-related records and documents.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry within relevant business systems.
- Provide administrative support to internal stakeholders involved in development application processing.
- Assist with training and guidance for Customer Service Officers on development application processes and procedures.
Remuneration And Benefits
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting at $69,240.69 per annum plus 12% superannuation with the opportunity for competency-based progression.
