Your new role

As the Homelessness Services Team Leader, you will lead a suite of homelessness support programs across the Wellington Shire, helping individuals and families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You will inspire, supervise, and support a dedicated team while partnering with the Uniting Leadership Team to enhance service systems and processes.

You will ensure services are delivered in line with quality standards, program targets, DFFH service agreements, and organisational policies. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, champion best practice, and make a lasting difference in the lives of people experiencing housing insecurity while fostering a high-performing and committed team culture.

Your skills and experience

  • To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Welfare Studies or other equivalent and related disciplines

You Will Also Have

  • Drivers licence valid in Victoria
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Demonstrated understanding of the needs and issues of individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively and compassionately with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
