We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Store Manager to join the leadership team at Hype DC Eastgardens. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, ambition and a genuine passion for people, sneakers and delivering an unforgettable customer experience.

Working closely with your Area Manager and Store Manager, you’ll help bring the Hype DC brand vision to life, build a WORLD CLASS team, create a MAGICAL VIBE, and drive commercial results, all while developing your own leadership career.

What You'll Be Doing

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action, helping to lead a high-performing team and create an environment where people love to work and customers love to shop.

You’ll

• Drive sales, KPIs and financial performance within your store
• Bring the Hype DC brand vision and strategy to life across every part of the store.
• Put the customer at the centre of every decision and deliver MEMORABLE experiences, 100% of the time.
• Create a people-first culture where your team feels empowered, supported and motivated to be their best.
• Coach, inspire and develop your team to unlock their potential and deliver outstanding results.
• Deliver a seamless omni-channel experience by ensuring online orders are prepared and fulfilled to the highest standard.
• Own Visual Merchandising excellence and make sure your store consistently looks best in class.
• Help create a store environment that is FUN, inclusive and safe for both our customers and our team.
• Partner with your leadership team to identify opportunities, solve problems and continuously improve store performance.

What we're looking for

• A genuine passion for people, sneakers, fashion, streetwear and retail.
• Previous Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• A proven track record of driving sales, KPIs and commercial performance.
• A natural ability to coach, motivate and develop a large team of brand ambassadors.
• A strong focus on customer experience and creating memorable moments.
• A team-first mindset with a relentless drive for excellence across Sales, Operations and Loss Prevention.
• The confidence to lead from the front, make decisions and MAKE IT HAPPEN.
• A strategic mindset, someone who can spot opportunities, challenge the status quo and turn ideas into action.
• Strong rostering and workforce management skills, with experience achieving wage control.
• The energy, positivity and resilience to thrive in a high-volume retail environment.
