Salary Package starting at: $86,477.26
About The Role
Responsible for the administration, control and distribution of fleet, plant, workshop and operational inventory, ensuring stock availability, accurate inventory records, efficient stores operations and compliance with organisational procedures to support service delivery across the City. This position provides frontline stores support for workshop, fleet and operational personnel and contributes to efficient asset and inventory management practices.
Duties
Key Responsibilities Include
- Manage daily stores operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and returning inventory, tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control systems.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to support operational requirements.
- Track and control assets, tools, and equipment to ensure accountability and accurate records.
- Conduct stocktakes, audits, and compliance checks to maintain inventory integrity.
- Support procurement activities in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Provide efficient stores support to internal customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of stores, inventory, and stock management processes.
