Position: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Adelaide, South Australia

Reports To: Lead Business Analyst

About the Role

RWS is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Propylon team in Adelaide. You'll work closely with government clients, stakeholders, and development teams to deliver innovative document workflow and legislative software solutions that support digital transformation.

This is a client-facing role where you'll lead business analysis activities, gather and document requirements, support solution design, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.

* Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and functional specifications.

* Facilitate workshops and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and development teams.

* Support solution design, implementation, and deployment.

* Mentor Business Analysts and promote best practices across the team.

* Prepare user documentation and training materials and deliver client demonstrations.

* Conduct manual testing and support issue resolution.

* Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst delivering enterprise software solutions for Government or Public Sector clients.

* Degree in Computer Science, IT, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.

* Strong experience gathering business requirements and writing functional specifications.

* Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Experience with legislative workflows and document-centric systems.

* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

* Experience mentoring team members and working across cross-functional teams.

* Experience with manual software testing.

Desirable Skills

* Certified Business Analyst qualification.

* Experience with JIRA, Figma, Balsamiq, Visio, Miro, or similar tools.

* Experience working in Agile environments.

* Knowledge of database reporting tools and Microsoft Office automation.

* Previous experience with Propylon products or legislative technology solutions.
