The Service Quality department is a global function that supports the Vestas Service organization in driving quality excellence across all regions. The team works closely with Service stakeholders worldwide to identify quality improvement opportunities, analyze performance trends, and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Through collaboration, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement initiatives, Service Quality plays a critical role in enhancing operational performance, customer satisfaction, and service reliability across Vestas' global fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Lost Production Factor (LPF), Liquidated Damages (LD) and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction initiatives together with Service ANZ.
  • Lead the deployment of quality strategies, standards, and best practices across Service operations ANZ to ensure consistent excellence.- Monitor and improve key quality performance indicators, including NCRs, customer issues, and Product audits.
  • Contribute to improved business performance through data-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCA) and structured problem-solving methodologies to prevent recurrence of quality issues
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring timely resolution of quality concerns and enhancing service delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with Service, R&D, Supply Chain, and stakeholders to identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and improve turbine reliability.
  • Facilitate quality awareness, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen a culture of quality and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or masters in engineering
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in quality governance, audits, continuous improvement, and customer issue management or a similar role.- Six Sigma green belt certified and Six Sigma Black Belt (preferable)
  • ISO 9001:2015 certified Auditor (preferable)

Competencies

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented.
  • Be a team player
  • Demonstrated capability to lead technical and quality projects across functions.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical and quality problems using structured methodologies and quality tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of wind turbine manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and service processes.
