Tax Practitioners Board

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join the Technology team within the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).

As an IT Business Analyst, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver system enhancements, legislative reform initiatives and technology solutions that support the TPB's strategic objectives. You’ll analyse and document business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to the design, testing and implementation of secure, scalable and sustainable solutions. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you’ll help ensure our technology platforms continue to meet the needs of practitioners, the public and our staff.

You are responsible for delivering complex legislative reform and business enhancement projects, ensuring competing priorities, business requirements and deadlines are effectively managed.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD.

• has extensive experience leading complex business analysis activities for Microsoft Dynamics, portal and web-based solutions, including gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, designing fit-for-purpose solutions, and delivering measurable business outcomes

• analyses and documents current and future state business processes, identifies opportunities for improvement, and develops innovative, strategically aligned solutions for Dynamics, portal and web environments

• has considerable experience delivering technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including solution design, testing, change management and deployment, supported by in depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, software development lifecycles (SDLC) and DevOps practices

• is a strong leader who manages multiple priorities, projects, risks and deadlines in complex environments, while fostering collaboration, mentoring team members and contributing to high-performing teams

• has exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, influencing decision-making and translating complex businesses and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
