Rating Systems Specialist
No cape required, just solid TechnologyOne know-how and a love of tidy data. As our Rating Systems Specialist, you'll play a key role in optimising the City's rating systems, supporting data quality, and ensuring rating processes remain efficient and compliant.
About the role
As the Rating Systems Specialist, you'll be responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the City's TechnologyOne Property & Rating system. You'll work closely with stakeholders to optimise system performance, improve data quality and reporting, support upgrades and enhancements, and ensure rating processes are efficient, compliant, and user-friendly.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in rating operations and TechnologyOne who enjoys solving complex system issues, streamlining processes, and delivering practical solutions that improve business outcomes.
A snapshot of your new role
- Optimise and enhance the City's rating systems to improve efficiency, performance, and user experience.
- Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate enhancements with internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data insights to support informed decision-making and statutory compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best-practice system solutions.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to users, fostering system capability and continuous improvement across the team.
What you will bring to the role
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a Local Government Rates role with a strong understanding of the Local Government Act 1995, Rates and Charges (Rebates and Deferments) Act 1992 and other legislation pertaining to local government rating.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing, maintaining and reconciling rating System
- Experience developing and maintaining documented processes, procedures, and training materials to support effective system administration and knowledge transfer.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, efficiency, and user experience.
- Experience in implementing and using Technology One rating modules (highly desirable)
- Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
