An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join the well established nursing team within the Endoscopy Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary. This busy department provides a five day service providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of investigations including Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Gastroscopy, Bronchoscopy and EBUS, for both out-patients and in-patients.

We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working in a challenging environment. A large part of the Healthcare Support Worker role involves the decontamination of endoscopes. Previous experience in this type of work would be an advantage.

There may be a requirement to travel and work at the Endoscopy Unit, Ninewells Hospital.

We want our Endoscopy Units to be places where patients come first, therefore we require an individual who will work as part of the Unit team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective care for patients.

We will provide a tailored induction and development programme.

You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 36 hours per week over 5 days.
