The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (Mechanical) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team in Townsville.

Program Overview

The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct aircraft and component maintenance within scope of authorisations
• Ensure inspection checkpoints are respected and ancillary tasks are completed
• Accurate completion of technical documentation and reports
• Assist the Team Leader in carrying out workplace assessments

Essential Requirements

• Certificate IV in Aero Skills (Mechanical) or equivalent trade qualification
• Apache Familiarisation course (CoA provided)
• Working at Heights qualification
• Must be an Australian Citizen to meet defence security requirements
