With a growing team and an exciting line-up of projects coming up, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the MPA team.

About The Role

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will join a high performing team who are integral to our success in winning landmark projects. You will support the tender process by ensuring submissions are accurately priced, transparent, and consistent with MPA's values.

To drive commercial outcomes, you will effectively source sub-contractors and suppliers with a high level of capability and compliance, leveraging your relationships to deliver the best possible budget outcome. You will review designs and plans at various stages of development and engage with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered with time, quality and cost outcomes to meet client requirements.

About You

You are a collaborative team player who projects confidence, credibility, and expertise. The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in the fit out and refurbishment sector, working for a Head Contractor.
• Proven experience pricing projects valued over $2 million.
• A Bachelor in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• The ability to effectively simplify complex information to suit the audience as required.
• Proven experience developing and managing strong relationships with internal team members at all levels as well as sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Experience and confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Commitment to developing positive and collaborative working relationships.
• Experience using Cubit, Cubit Select, Procore or Estimate One to deliver cost estimates.
• Experience participating in estimating review and handover meetings.
