MR/HR Driver

This role is as much about people as it is about driving. You'll be the only CHILL team member most of our customers ever meet. Every delivery is a chance to build trust — or lose it. We want a driver who understands that delivering a perfect order with a good attitude is just as important as getting there on time.

The role

There's a real satisfaction to a well-run route. You know your stops, you know your customers, you know exactly what a good day looks like — and you go out and deliver it.

CHILL runs cold chain freight to businesses across our network, and our MR/HR Drivers are the people who make that last kilometre count. Chilled and frozen product, handled correctly, delivered on time, documented properly. You'll use our tech for PODs, manifests, and vehicle inspections — and you'll be accountable for your run end to end.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Driving an MR/HR truck on regular cold chain delivery routes
• Loading and unloading freight — manual handling up to 35kg, regularly, on most stops
• Pre-trip vehicle inspections via iAuditor — every shift, no exceptions
• Five mandatory POD photos per delivery using our tech, product label, temperature reading, open-box product scan, business exterior with street number, all stock delivered
• Recording pickup and delivery temperatures to one decimal place, if a reading is out of HACCP range, you contact the transport team before delivering
• Completing your manifest and submitting your end-of-day report
• Representing CHILL at every door — professional, friendly, accountable

What We're Looking For

• Current, valid MR or HR licence
• Right to work in Australia
• Genuinely comfortable talking to customers — this is a customer-facing role
• Tech-comfortable — Carton Cloud, iAuditor, smartphone POD systems
• Physically fit for daily manual handling up to 35kg
• Reliable and punctual — your customers are expecting you at a specific time
• Detail-oriented — accurate paperwork, correct photo documentation, correct temperatures

Our drivers are trusted to operate independently. You won't have someone checking over your shoulder on every run, which means we need people who hold their own standard even when no one's watching.
