Flinders Aviation is a CASA approved maintenance organisation operating from Redcliffe Aerodrome, providing aircraft painting and refinishing, engineering for paint disassembly and reassembly, defect rectification, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, corrosion treatment and repairs, and aircraft presentation and refurbishment. Customers include private owners, commercial operators, emergency service providers, and aviation organisations across Australia.

About The Role

Flinders Aviation is looking for an organised and reliable Aviation Stores Person to join the growing team at Redcliffe Aerodrome. This is a hands-on role supporting aircraft maintenance and paint operations, with responsibility for ensuring parts, materials, tooling and consumables are received, controlled, stored and issued correctly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming aircraft parts, materials and consumables
  • Checking purchase orders, delivery documentation and certification
  • Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records
  • Issuing parts and materials to aircraft projects
  • Monitoring stock levels and organising replenishment of consumables
  • Maintaining appropriate storage, identification and traceability of aviation parts and materials, and monitoring shelf-life controlled products
  • Organising freight, couriers and outgoing shipments
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient stores area
  • Assisting with tooling control and registers
  • Working closely with engineering, paint and administration teams

Essential Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and able to take ownership of their area
  • Comfortable working with computer-based inventory and record systems
  • Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
  • A good communicator and team player

Desirable

Previous experience in aviation stores, aircraft maintenance, warehousing, logistics or inventory control. Experience with aviation parts documentation, traceability and controlled stores environments.
