About the role
Reporting to the Stores Group Leader, this is a great opportunity to join our supportive stores team and enjoy a diverse hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe receipt, storage, transport and delivery of goods throughout our site operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, storing, issuing and delivering stores goods, spare parts and packaged raw materials
- Loading and unloading items safely and accurately
- Transporting materials across site and to designated customers
- Managing the storage and transportation of packaged raw materials (stock take, pallet control and logistics);
- Maintaining accurate records within computerised inventory and receivables systems
- Operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Supporting inventory control and warehouse housekeeping activities
- Assisting with other ad hoc operational requirements as required
- Contributing to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A Current Forklift Licence & a current WA Driver's Licence (MR Licence preferred)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Experience within a similar warehousing or distribution role, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing or mining environment
- Sound computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (SAP experience will be highly regarded)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
