THE ROLE

As a Boutique Operations Associate, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and efficient daily operations of the Boutique. You will provide essential support across inventory management, facilities, and administrative functions, enabling the retail team to deliver an exceptional client experience and meet commercial objectives. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of the Maison.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Management

  • Execute all aspects of stock management, including accurate receiving, unpacking, and processing of new deliveries.
  • Manage stock transfers efficiently, ensuring timely movement of merchandise between locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full stock-takes, maintaining rigorous inventory accuracy.
  • Perform quality control checks on all incoming and outgoing merchandise, addressing discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain an organised and secure stockroom, adhering to Maison standards for product care and presentation.

Boutique Operations Support

  • Provide vital support to the sales team on the selling floor, ensuring merchandise availability and presentation readiness.
  • Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and store upkeep, ensuring the Boutique image is consistently impeccable.
  • Manage the supply and inventory of boutique stationery, packaging, and staff uniforms.
  • Support cash and payment handling processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the Boutique premises, staff, and clients, reporting any issues to management.
  • Coordinate and oversee general maintenance, repairs, and IT support for Boutique systems and facilities.
  • Adhere strictly to all internal operational procedures and company guidelines.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare and compile various operational reports, including inventory status, sales data, and other key metrics, for management review.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments, such as Merchandising, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure smooth coordination of operational activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Boutique management team as required.

Event & Special Project Support

  • Assist in the setup and execution of in-store events, client appointments, and promotional activities.
  • Provide operational support for special projects, ensuring efficient coordination and successful outcomes.

Profile

PROFILE

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary education or above.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail operations, administration, or a similar support role, preferably within the luxury sector.

Other Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and retail POS/inventory management software.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of problem-solving and working effectively under pressure.
  • Passion for the luxury retail industry and commitment to service excellence.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
