Commercial & Business Services Manager

Internally referred to as Manager – Business & Commercial Services

About the Role

Lead West Arnhem Regional Council's Business & Commercial Services portfolio in Jabiru, NT. Drive commercial performance, oversee contracts and funding, and mentor a multidisciplinary team — all while reporting directly to the Director of Technical Services.

Duties

• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team
• Strengthen commercial performance across Council's portfolio
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and service delivery
• Drive business development and new funding opportunities
• Provide commercial insights that inform Executive decisions

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Management (or equivalent leadership experience)
• Demonstrated leadership of commercial, contracts or business service functions
• Strong financial management, budgeting and reporting skills
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Current C Class driver's licence
