About the Job

As the key finance leader onsite, you'll provide commercial insight, financial control and strategic support across all areas of the operation. You'll be empowered to work autonomously, identify risks and opportunities early, and influence action that improves site performance. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact today, while also building broader exposure within Supply Chain Finance as the business evolves, including future opportunities to broaden your experience across Supply Chain Finance and The Arnott's Group manufacturing network.

What Your Days Look Like

  • Providing commercial insight and performance analysis to site leaders.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner to the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team, influencing decisions that improve operational and financial outcomes
  • Overseeing the manufacturing costing, inventory, labour efficiency, waste and productivity metrics.
  • Developing business cases and supporting capital investment decisions.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and driving accountability for results.
  • Coaching and developing site finance team members.

About You

You're curious, confident and enjoy being close to the operation. You know how to turn financial data into business insights and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You'll also bring:

  • 7+ years' experience in Finance, Accounting or Commercial Finance.
  • Manufacturing, industrial or FMCG experience.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and month-end capability.
  • Manufacturing costing and cost accounting experience.
  • Proven business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous people leadership experience. including coaching, developing and creating accountability within teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with SAP experience highly regarded.
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach with the confidence to make decisions and know when to escalate.
  • The ability to be onsite in Shepparton five days per week.
