Maintenance Fitter- Permanent Day Shift

We're partnering with a well established manufacturer that's looking for an experienced

Maintenance Fitter to join their team in a permanent day shift role.

This isn't a job where you'll be stuck doing the same thing every day. You'll be hands-on with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, machinery upgrades and precision machining, playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Machinery installations and upgrades
• Operating manual lathes and mills to manufacture, repair and modify components
• Mechanical fitting and light fabrication
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects

What you'll bring

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (essential)
• Experience operating manual lathes and mills (essential)
• Strong background maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment
• Excellent mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
