Labourers to join our Civil Operations team.

• Remuneration package of $2,267.62 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,721.14 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).
• Access to Council’s Nine (9) Day Fortnight Arrangement.

Your New Role

Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking reliable labourers to work within our civil operations division. This is an ideal opportunity for someone accustomed to hands on work, looking for a job that has variety and gives you access to great training and career development options.

Undertake labouring duties across the civil operations division for works such as:

• Civil construction
• Road works
• Maintenance works
• Traffic control
• Housekeeping (environmental controls, safety controls, site security, etc)

What You Will Need To Succeed

• A General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
• A Class C Driver’s Licence (Minimum).
• SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card\s – Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control or willingness to obtain.
• Applicants must be punctual, enjoy working outdoors and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
