Project Info

ACCIONA leads the Alkimos Seawater Alliance, delivering the approximately $1.4 billion Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant for Water Corporation. The project will future proof water supply for more than 2.5 million Western Australians and reduce groundwater abstraction by 30 billion litres a year. Construction is underway, with first water expected by 2028.

About Opportunity

Reporting to the Lead Document Controller / Quality Manager, you will maintain efficient control of project documents and records, ensuring all work reflects the latest revisions and that evidence is properly filed. You will keep the project's document control systems running effectively across document control, records management and correspondence, and provide administrative support and training to the wider delivery team.

Key accountabilities for the position will be

  • Ensure compliance with document control plans
  • Upload and distribute project documents accurately
  • Audit and monitor document control activities
  • Manage EDMS distribution of new document revisions
  • Prepare, issue and track document workflows
  • Maintain accurate records and self-report progress
  • Resolve procedural issues and improve processes

Required skills and experience

  • Experience using an EDMS platform
  • Background in document control on major projects
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident working with project, client and supplier teams
  • Sound administrative and organisational skills
