Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, located in The Hills Shire Council area, is looking for an experienced Permanent Part Time Aquatic Duty Supervisor to join our team. The complex includes a 10-lane 50m outdoor Olympic-sized pool, additional 25m outdoor pool and two indoor learn to swim and leisure pools, along with a water play area, and a fully equipped fitness centre. What Does This Role Look Like
- Assist with supervision of pool bookings, including school carnivals, swim clubs, internal programs. Assist in set up and delivery of internal programs/venue bookings at the centre.
- Provide and lead lifeguards in providing active pool supervision.
- Provide quality customer service by performing lifeguarding, answering enquiries, directing patrons
- Complete accurate record keeping including – water quality testing, shift reporting, incident/accident reporting
What Are We Seeking
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Pool Lifeguard and Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate
- First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Working with children check
- Demonstrated understanding of the compliance with NSW Public Swimming Pools and Spa Pools Guidelines.

Spread of Hours
Option A: Mon’ 9am-5.30pm, Fri’ 10am-2pm, Sun’ 11am-7.30pm
Option B: Mon’ 9am-1pm, Fri’ 4.30pm-8.30pm, Sat’ 1pm-7.30pm, Sun 1pm-7.30pm
Essential Requirements
- Pool Lifeguard Award
- First Aid Certificate
- Aquatic Technical Operator / Pool Operators Certificate
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
