Additional information:

  • This is a 60hr per fortnight Permanent Part-time role.

  • The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of hours. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
  • You will need to be able to start at 6am on delivery days which are Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays
  • Ability to lift to 15kg, repetitively, and use of mechanical aids such as a Pallet Jack.

Team vision (text) As an IKEA Food Goods Receiver your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised
  • Follow IKEA rules and Guidelines with Goods receiving
  • Cleaning and organise storage areas ready for delivery’s
  • Deep cleaning of storage areas – walk in fridges and freezers
  • Small amount of administrative work using a digital tool for receiving orders and pallet returns

  • Experienced with working in an extremely fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality experience is highly regarded.
  • Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
  • Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
