What you will do as the Senior Change Analyst

IMTS are seeking an APS6-level Senior Change Analyst to support our ongoing work for the 2026/27 ICT Project Portfolio. We are looking for an exemplary communicator (ideally with experience in IT change management) who has a strong track record of achieving results and building effective working relationships. You will help develop the organisational change competency within the branch and support others to develop change competency.

As The Senior Change Analyst, You Will

  • Identify and analyse key stakeholders and the impacts of planned organisational change as part of ICT project delivery.
  • Develop change management plans to address change impacts and ensure business readiness and adoption, and execute related change activities (e.g. engagement, change communications, training, implementation and transition activities).
  • Lead the development of change communications to support impacted groups transition to new ways of working.
  • Identify change risks, contribute to mitigating the risks and escalate to project leaders where needed.
  • Support project teams to provide coaching and training to employees at all levels.
  • Designing and participating in change workshops and assisting in the development of materials and products for these workshops.
  • Provide reporting and other updates to management and relevant governance meetings.

About You

Role

All candidates are expected to meet the APS Integrated Leadership Profile (ILS) for the classification advertised. Follow the link for more information on the ILS. This role in particular requires:

  • Demonstrated experience with the successful implementation of change management activities (including strategy, planning, stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, engagement, communication, training, implementation and reinforcement).
  • Ability to continually prioritise work around tight deadlines while delivering successful change implementation across multiple ICT projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the proven ability to easily build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A demonstrated ability to engage effectively and work cohesively as part of a team and with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience creating, coordinating, and delivering high quality, plain English communication materials and products, including newsletters, talking points, FAQs, guides and content for a range of internal and external audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively juggle competing priorities, including proactive and reactive work.

The Following Job Specific Criteria Are Also Highly Desirable

  • Experience within the ACCC or a similar organisation, or a strong understanding of our operating environment.
