Showroom Assistant

About the role

We're currently seeking a friendly and motivated Showroom Assistant to join a well-established local business. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in retail sales while developing valuable customer service and administration skills.

Working Monday to Friday only, this role offers flexibility with school hours considered for the right candidate. You'll be the face of the showroom, assisting customers, maintaining product displays and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

Duties

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and showroom sales.
• Merchandise and maintain attractive showroom displays.
• Complete data entry and maintain accurate customer and product records.
• Use computer systems and databases to support daily operations.
• Create basic marketing materials using Canva.
• Assist with stock control, receiving deliveries and moving stock throughout the showroom.
• Keep the showroom clean, organised and well presented.

Skills and Experience

• Previous retail, customer service or sales experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong computer skills, including confidence using databases, data entry and Canva.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Well organised with strong attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable of moving stock when required.
• Current Driver Licence (essential).
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
