Te Au Reka is a large, complex and unique programme spanning the courts and tribunals of New Zealand. Te Haeata/The Opportunity

As the Implementation Manager, you will lead and coordinate implementation activities that bring together technology, operational readiness, and change delivery to ensure successful outcomes across the Te Au Reka programme.

Working closely with programme leaders, digital specialists, change professionals, business stakeholders and external partners, you will help ensure new digital services are effectively integrated into operational environments while maintaining business continuity and delivery integrity.

You will be responsible for managing complex interdependencies, supporting business readiness, coordinating implementation planning, identifying risks, and helping guide the organisation through the adoption of new technology-enabled ways of working.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading implementation planning and coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams.
Managing dependencies between technology, change, operational and external stakeholders.
Supporting business readiness, go-live planning and transition activities.
Facilitating cross-functional planning sessions and integrated delivery plans.
Identifying implementation risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Providing strategic advice to programme leaders on implementation options, impacts and constraints.
Supporting impact assessments and readiness reviews.
Building strong relationships across business units, delivery teams, vendors and external partners.
Contributing to governance forums and providing insights on implementation risks and delivery status.
Championing high-quality delivery, continuous improvement and collaborative ways of working.

Ō Pūkenga/Skills And Experience

We're looking for a delivery-focused professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing people, processes and technology together.

You Will Have

Experience in programme management or senior project management roles.
Proven success delivering within large-scale business or digital transformation programmes.
Strong experience coordinating multiple workstreams, including technology, change and operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex interdependencies and competing priorities.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a systems-thinking approach.
The ability to influence and achieve outcomes without direct authority.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights.
Experience working within structured governance environments.
Sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex organisational environments.

Desirable

Knowledge of public sector governance and decision-making processes.
Understanding of the justice sector, courts, tribunals or related government agencies.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The salary range for this role is between $112,766 and $154,680, based on skills and experience.
