About the Role

Johns Lyng Group is seeking a Change Officer to join the Technology team. Reporting to the National Change Lead, this role will support the delivery of technology change initiatives across the business, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption.

The Change Lead drives the strategy, while the Change Officer manages day-to-day coordination, engagement, training, and change support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Change Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate and support change activities across multiple technology projects.
  • Manage schedules, reporting, stakeholder updates, and change readiness activities.
  • Work closely with project and business teams to support successful rollout and adoption outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Develop and deliver communications, engagement sessions, and project updates to support awareness and buy-in.
  • Facilitate feedback sessions and act as a key contact for change-related support.

Training & Adoption

  • Deliver training sessions and develop practical support materials including user guides and reference content.
  • Provide hands-on support to end-users during implementation and adoption phases.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and feedback collection.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor adoption and identify resistance or improvement opportunities.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of change, communication, and training initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to support successful change outcomes.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years' experience in change management, project coordination, or a similar role within a technology environment.
  • Experience supporting technology and business change programs in medium-to-large organisations.
  • Understanding of change management frameworks such as ADKAR, Prosci, or Kotter.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Technical literacy across enterprise platforms including Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and bespoke systems.
  • Experience developing and delivering end-user training materials and programs.
  • Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools.

Desirable Attributes

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Change Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Prosci or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide technology rollouts such as ERP, CRM, or ITSM platforms.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
