Lead the Ministry's enterprise planning and investment portfolio function at a pivotal time for the justice system. As Manager, Enterprise Planning, you will shape how strategy is translated into organisation-wide priorities, investment decisions, and sustainable delivery plans. Reporting to the General Manager, Strategy & Investments, you will lead a high-performing team and influence senior leaders across the Ministry, Justice Sector, and central government.

In This Role You Will

• Lead enterprise-wide performance planning and prioritisation frameworks
• Provide oversight and assurance across the Ministry's investment portfolio
• Drive portfolio governance and investment decision-making
• Lead annual and multi-year enterprise planning processes
• Deliver strategic organisational and ministerial initiatives
• Build project and programme management maturity across the Ministry
• Develop high-performing teams and future leaders
• Influence senior stakeholders across government and the Justice Sector

To Be Successful In This Role You Will

• Bring extensive enterprise planning and portfolio leadership experience
• Lead complex investment, governance and assurance functions
• Influence senior executives and navigate political environments
• Apply a Te Tiriti o Waitangi lens to strategy and decision-making
• Build high-performing teams and organisational capability

A relevant tertiary qualification and experience with portfolio management frameworks such as MoP, SAFe, or similar methodologies will be advantageous.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The remuneration band for this role is $149,972 to $193,782, with the appointing salary determined by skills and experience.
