Aurenne Mining is seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor to join our team at the Mt Ida Gold Mine. This is a pivotal position on an 8:6 FIFO roster, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to site safety compliance within a supportive, close-knit team.

Safety & Compliance Responsibilities
- Providing advice and guidance on safety and related matters
- Incident investigations
- Conducting workplace inspections and identifying hazards
- Ensuring employees and contractors comply with safety policies
- Maintaining up-to-date safety documentation and emergency response plans
- Conducting audits and updating safety registers
Essential
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in a similar role in mining
- Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent
- Manual C Class driver’s licence
- Strong understanding of WA WSH Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to make effective decisions in rapidly changing situations
Desirable
- Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment
- HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
