Aurenne Mining is seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor to join our team at the Mt Ida Gold Mine. This is a pivotal position on an 8:6 FIFO roster, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to site safety compliance within a supportive, close-knit team.

Safety & Compliance Responsibilities

Providing advice and guidance on safety and related matters
Incident investigations
Conducting workplace inspections and identifying hazards
Ensuring employees and contractors comply with safety policies
Maintaining up-to-date safety documentation and emergency response plans
Conducting audits and updating safety registers

Essential

Your Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year in a similar role in mining
Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent
Manual C Class driver’s licence
Strong understanding of WA WSH Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to make effective decisions in rapidly changing situations

Desirable

Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response
Cert IV in Training & Assessment
HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
