As Strategic Advisory Lead, you will spearhead the development and delivery of Egis' strategic advisory capability across Australia, shaping high-impact solutions for clients navigating transformation, digital, sustainability and asset strategy challenges. Working closely with the Director, you'll help evolve our advisory offering, lead a talented consulting team and build the trusted client relationships that underpin our continued growth. This is a senior leadership role that can be based anywhere in Australia, for someone ready to influence both the direction of the business and the careers of the people within it.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the delivery of complex, high-value advisory engagements for key clients across Australia
  • Supporting the Director to shape and evolve the strategic advisory offering in line with regional strategy
  • Building trusted client relationships and contributing to pipeline development and pursuit activities
  • Collaborating with regional teams to leverage shared methodologies and intellectual property
  • Leading and inspiring a high-performing consulting team, fostering a culture grounded in Egis' values of people first, accountability and innovation
  • Driving capability uplift through coaching, mentoring and creating development opportunities across the team
  • Promoting innovation by encouraging new thinking, digital approaches and continuous improvement in how services are delivered

Qualifications

Ideally, you will bring significant experience in management consulting or strategic advisory, preferably within infrastructure, the built environment or a related sector, along with a proven track record of leading high-value client engagements. In addition, you will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, engineering, economics or similar (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex advisory engagements across areas such as transformation, digital, sustainability and/or asset strategy
  • A strong existing network, with the commercial acumen to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities
  • Proven leadership capability, with experience building, mentoring and inspiring high-performing consulting teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at senior client levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex problems into clear, compelling solutions
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across regional and global teams
