Are you a product thinker who can move from a founder's raw idea all the way to a live, launched product, using every tool available to you to move fast and deliver exceptional outcomes?

Hyper is looking for a Mid-level Product Manager to join our Melbourne team. This is not a traditional PM role. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with first-time founders, guiding them from idea through to a launched, investment-ready product in 12 to 16 weeks. You will own product strategy and discovery, shape commercial models, drive capital-raising narratives, and work alongside AI development to build and launch real products, not just prototypes.

What you'll do

As a Product Manager at Hyper, you will guide 15 projects at any given time through our end-to-end process, taking each founder from idea to launch. Day to day, you will:

Lead product discovery and strategy, running research and workshops that turn a founder's vision into a clear product direction.

Flesh out MVP user experiences and build prototypes that test whether a solution is desirable, feasible, and viable.

Work alongside AI development and designers to design and build the product. You'll partner with an AI dev to move founders beyond clickable prototypes to real, launch-ready products.

Shape the commercial foundation, working with founders on pricing, revenue modelling, and go-to-market strategy.

Prepare founders to raise, contributing to pitch decks, data rooms, and the narrative that gets them investor-ready.

Own the outcome for every founder in your portfolio, ensuring quality, momentum, and alignment to their business goals from kickoff to launch.

Improve how we work, collaborating with the product team to sharpen our methods, tools, and AI-driven workflows.

What you'll bring

• AI-first delivery - Strong, demonstrated experience using a range of AI platforms and tools as core to how you work. You use AI to research, stress-test ideas, build and ship faster, and deliver stronger outcomes.
• Product discovery and strategy - A track record of translating founder or stakeholder visions into research-backed product strategies and validated solutions.
• Startup fluency - Familiarity with the Australian startup ecosystem and early-stage business models.
• End-to-end ownership - Comfort taking a product from idea through build to launch.
• Commercial acumen - An understanding of pricing, revenue models, and go-to-market thinking, and how they shape a fundable business.
• People person with high EQ - A natural relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys collaborating with others. You connect easily with people from all walks of life, read personalities quickly, and adapt how you work to get the best out of every founder and teammate. This is a huge part of the role, so it has to come naturally to you.
• Adaptability and initiative - You're comfortable with ambiguity, you take ownership, and you hold a high bar for the quality of your work.
• Bonus points: Hands-on AI product builder - Experience building and launching your own AI-developed products. You know what it takes to go from idea to shipped, because you've done it yourself.
