- Assist with month-end close and preparation of management accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting workpapers.
- Support payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
- Prepare BAS, FBT, PRT and other compliance workpapers.
- Support annual audit and tax compliance processes.
- Maintain integrity of accounting records and reconciliations.
- Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Support EPC project accounting including cost tracking, reporting and analysis.
- Assist with project margin reviews and project performance reporting.
- Participate in AI, automation and ERP optimisation initiatives.
- Document, review and redesign finance processes.
- Support dashboard development and reporting automation projects.
- Assist with implementation and testing of new systems and controls.
- Work collaboratively across the business to improve finance processes.
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Working towards CA/CPA qualification.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial systems and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
