About the role

Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst who enjoys turning complex business needs into clear, practical and deliverable solutions? This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping quality business and ICT outcomes, working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners and delivery teams.

Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will support the development and implementation of business and AI-enabled solutions aligned to organisational objectives. You will translate business needs into structured requirements, specifications and supporting artefacts that enable effective delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who is collaborative, analytical and confident working across business and technical environments to support requirements elicitation, process analysis, feature specification, story elaboration, acceptance criteria, readiness activities and quality assurance of analysis artefacts.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead and support business analysis activities, including guiding junior business analysis resources where required.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse processes and identify opportunities for quality improvement, data management and AI-enabled process improvement.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, product owners, solution architects, delivery partners and business stakeholders.
• Develop business cases, project briefs, requirements, process models, feature specifications, story specifications and other supporting analysis artefacts.
• Translate business intent into clear, structured and implementable requirements that support effective delivery.
• Co-author and refine feature and story specifications, including acceptance criteria, business rules, non-functional requirements, UX/UI requirements and data requirements.
• Review AI-assisted specification outputs for completeness, quality, clarity, sizing and alignment to business intent.
• Support readiness, testing, training, prioritisation, sequencing, reporting and delivery planning activities.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and impacts that may affect project delivery, and report issues in a timely manner.

About You

• You are an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong documentation skills and the ability to produce clear, structured and complete requirements and specifications.
• You can analyse and synthesise complex business requirements, recognise patterns, conceptualise processes and identify practical improvement opportunities.
• You communicate confidently with business stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners, and can adapt your style to different audiences.
• You understand how AI-enabled delivery methods can influence business analysis practices, including the importance of strong upfront specification and validation.
• You are confident reviewing and refining analysis artefacts, including requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, process models and specification outputs.
• You bring strong stakeholder management skills and enjoy working collaboratively across project, technical and business teams.
• You have advanced Microsoft application skills, including Visio and MS Project.
