Drafting Solutions is looking for a Delivery Manager to take the reins on their Hydraulic Services projects. If you have solid building services experience and want to step into a leadership role, without being thrown in the deep end, this is your next move.

You will be the go-to person for project status, client liaison, and technical direction, working closely with our Operations Manager to keep projects tracking on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the key point of contact for project status updates
  • Attending start-up meetings and coordination catch-ups for new projects
  • Being the client liaison for Hydraulic projects
  • Delegating work across the team (with support from the Ops Manager)
  • Troubleshooting technical issues: construction methodology, Australian Standards, and more
  • Running QA checks on drawings before they go to clients
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff

What you won't be doing

You are not expected to run every project solo, attend every meeting, answer every question, or fix every issue single-handedly. This is a supported role where you will have backup every step of the way.

  • A gradual handover with the Operations Manager staying on board for existing projects
  • Hands-on support as you grow into the role

The Like Mind

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in building services (drafting experience not required)
  • On-site trade experience highly regarded
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • A detail-focused mindset with genuine interest in services design and coordination
