Field Supervisor

BYV Organics

Full-Time | Toowoomba, Darling Downs & South Burnett (travel required)

About the role

We’re seeking a hands-on Field Supervisor who enjoys practical, on-the-ground work and takes pride in running safe, well-organised sites. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations across regional locations, ensuring activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

You’ll be the key point of contact on site—working closely with truck drivers, contractors and landholders to keep operations running smoothly. From setting up new sites through to managing daily activities, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining productivity, site conditions, and clear communication across all parties.

The role involves regular travel and working across multiple properties, with a strong focus on practical problem-solving, site coordination, and maintaining high standards of safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise deliveries and unloading activities on site, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations
  • Coordinate truck movements, site access and traffic flow to maintain productivity and minimise disruption
  • Set up new application sites, including access, layout, workflow and site readiness for operations
  • Operate and maintain pumps, washdown systems and other site equipment to support daily activities
  • Manage site conditions including fly control, housekeeping and general presentation of the site
  • Liaise with drivers, contractors and landholders to ensure clear communication and smooth site operations
  • Maintain accurate site records, delivery logs and daily reporting to support operational tracking and compliance
  • Support site setup, mobilisation and demobilisation across multiple regional locations as required

About you

  • Practical and hands-on, with the ability to manage day-to-day site activities and solve problems as they arise
  • Mechanically minded, with experience operating or working around pumps, hoses, and similiar equipment
  • Background in agriculture, transport, or similar field-based operations
  • Confident coordinating people on site, including drivers, contractors and landholders
  • Strong focus on safety, doing the job properly, and maintaining high site standards
  • Able to work independently, take ownership, and stay organised across multiple sites
  • Good communicator, with a practical and respectful approach
  • Current driver’s licence (MR preferred) and willingness to travel and work away as required

What we offer

  • Competitive salary + super (based on experience)
  • Company vehicle (business use, including fuel)
  • Travel and working-away allowances
  • Hands-on role with real responsibility, autonomy, and variety
  • Work across a range of properties and environments—no two sites are the same
  • Be part of a practical, down-to-earth team delivering work across regional locations

Be part of a team helping improve soil health and return organic nutrients back to the land in a practical, real-world way.
