Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Speech Pathology Area Manager to join our leadership team and support the growth, development and success of our Speech Pathology team.

About The Role
As Speech Pathology Discipline Area Manager, you will work collaboratively with operational and clinical leaders to ensure our Speech Pathologists are supported, developed and empowered to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Your Leadership Focus Will Include
Clinical Excellence & Performance
- Drive accountability to clinical standards, KPIs and performance expectations
- Support clinicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based Speech Pathology services
- Maintain strong clinical governance and quality outcomes
Team Development & Mentoring
- Develop individual clinician career development plans
- Support professional growth and clinical capability
- Provide coaching, mentoring and leadership support
Staff Engagement & Retention
- Champion a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture
- Develop strategies that improve clinician engagement and retention
- Build a connected and high-performing Speech Pathology team
Clinical Practice
- Maintain a clinical caseload of approximately 21 billable hours per week
- Continue providing client-centred Speech Pathology services
- Lead by example and support clinicians with complex presentations
About You
You are a passionate Speech Pathologist who enjoys developing others, driving high standards and creating meaningful change.
You Will Bring
- Minimum 4 years of Speech Pathology clinical experience
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed performance expectations
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Proven ability to maintain clinical standards and positive client outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisation and prioritisation abilities
- A collaborative and solutions-focused leadership approach
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
- Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Medicare Provider Number (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to travel across multiple sites when required
