ACCOUNTING MANAGER / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - PARTNERSHIP PROSPECTS

We are a progressive Chartered Accounting firm who has been servicing the Geelong region since 1986 (originally the Geelong office of Big 8 firm Coopers & Lybrand). We are passionate about helping our clients build their business and achieve financial success. We have a wide range of clients including small and medium sized businesses, wealthy family groups, SMSFs, investors, charities and international businesses.

We are a very technically skilled team which allows us to offer high-end advice to our clients.

We are seeking a dynamic and progressive professional, confident and competent in dealing with complex tax matters, in particular Small Business Concessions, FTE, Division 7A issues and superannuation matters. The applicant should have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in public accounting, and be ambitious and driven.

The successful candidate will be capable of preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and providing business and tax advice as required for a vast array of client groups.

The applicant should be articulate, self-autonomous, and capable of proactively servicing clients. He or she would need to be effective in maintaining and developing strong relationships with both clients and staff and be capable of effectively delegating and managing work as required. Most importantly they will have strong communication skills that will enable them to make a positive impression on staff members and clients alike.

This new manager position will enable one of the partners of the firm to transition to semi-retirement, and ultimately there is the potential for a partnership opportunity to be offered in the future.

We offer excellent working conditions and a suitable remuneration package will be available to the successful applicant. As a guide the range will be from $130,000 to $150,000 per annum.
