Senior Algorithm Engineer – Medical Devices (Calibration & Biosensors)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Algorithm Engineer to join a cutting-edge medical device team developing next-generation wearable biosensor technology.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining statistical modelling, signal processing, manufacturing analytics and data science to solve complex engineering challenges in a regulated environment.

What you'll be working on:

Develop and validate calibration algorithms for wearable biosensors

Build models using manufacturing, QC and experimental data to predict sensor performance

Analyse process variation, batch effects and manufacturing data to improve product accuracy

Design signal processing algorithms for real-time sensor measurements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Clinical, Quality and Regulatory

Support analytical validation and algorithm verification for commercial medical devices

We're looking for professionals with experience in:

Medical Devices, Diagnostics or IVD

Biosensors or Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)

Statistical Modelling & Data Science

Signal Processing

Calibration Transfer or Chemometrics

Manufacturing Process Analytics (DOE, CQAs, CPPs)

Python, R or MATLAB

Analytical Validation or Process Modelling
