As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team. Working alongside experienced consultants, you'll source, engage, and qualify insurance professionals while building long-term relationships with candidates across the General Insurance market.
This is a highly relationship-driven role with a strong focus on speaking with candidates, understanding their career goals, and delivering exceptional recruitment outcomes. Whether you already have recruitment experience or come from the insurance industry, looking to take your first step into recruitment, this is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career with structured mentoring and ongoing professional development.
This is a Full-time or Part-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and engage insurance professionals using the latest recruitment technology.
- Build relationships with candidates via phone, SMS, email, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct qualification conversations to understand candidates' experience, career goals, and suitability.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for current and future opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within our CRM.
- Conduct reference checks and provide end-to-end recruitment support.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while representing the brand professionally.
About You
- Previous recruitment experience, sales experience or a background in the General Insurance industry is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills and confidence speaking with people over the phone.
- Naturally personable with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, driven, and eager to learn.
- A genuine interest in the insurance industry and relationship-based recruitment.
- You value professionalism, collaboration, and delivering outstanding outcomes.
