About the role

Join AGL's Electrification & Innovation (E&I) team and help shape the future of energy in Australia. As a Product Owner, you'll play a key role in bringing new electrification products to life-taking ideas from concept through to commercial scale and helping customers decarbonise the way they live.

The Product Owner - Home Electrification (Channel Sales) plays a key role in powering the growth of AGL's Home Electrification Flex energy products through a high-performing network of third-party partners.

Reporting to the Product Lead, Home Electrification, you'll own the Channel Sales strategy for flex products, responsible for scaling sales through channel partnerships. You'll work closely with partners to embed AGL's offers into their customer journeys, drive adoption of Flex Plans, and unlock growth through targeted enablement, incentives, and ongoing relationship management.

This role is critical to AGL's Home Electrification strategy, with a strong focus on partner acquisition, channel growth, and sustained performance. Rather than engaging directly with end customers, you'll scale impact by enabling our partners to succeed.

What you'll be doing

  • Own, develop and operationalise the Channel Sales Strategy
  • Identify, contract and onboard channel partners.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end partner journey, working closely with partners to embed AGL offers into their sales processes and drive adoption.
  • Turn customer and market insights into action, using data, feedback and research to shape product enhancements and new opportunities.
  • Lead product delivery from concept to launch, prioritising initiatives and managing the backlog to deliver maximum customer and commercial value.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to accelerate innovation and outcomes.
  • Continuously improve performance, monitoring results, optimising features and balancing customer experience, commercial outcomes and technology stability.

About you

  • Strong business modelling skills, capable of translating concepts into practical and scalable strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with previous P&L ownership and contract negotiation experience.
