ICT Contracts Officer - Sydney, NSW || 16 months contract

Join a leading Local Government organisation and play a key role in managing ICT contracts, vendor relationships, procurement activities, and contract governance.

We are seeking an experienced ICT Contracts Officer to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of ICT contracts, ensuring compliance, value for money, effective vendor management, and strong stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer ICT contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Review and analyse contracts to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance, contractual obligations, risks, and key milestones.
• Lead and support ICT procurement activities, including RFTs, RFPs, RFQs, and vendor selection processes.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, ICT, and business stakeholders to achieve optimal contract outcomes.
• Assist with contract negotiations, service agreements, and pricing discussions with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with ICT vendors and service providers.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, compliance, security, and commercial risks.

Desirable

• Previous experience within Local Government, State Government, or Public Sector environments.
• ICT Governance, Risk Management, or Project Management experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Procurement, Commerce, or a related discipline.
