Safety Coordinator - Civil Infrastructure | ASAP Start | 3 Month Contract

Our client, a well-established principal contractor, is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join their team working across a mix of TfNSW, Sydney Water and general civil infrastructure projects throughout Sydney.

This is an immediate start on a 3 month contract basis, working directly with site teams to ensure safe delivery across multiple active civil sites.

The Role

• Coordinate day-to-day safety across several civil construction sites
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety audits
• Ensure compliance with TfNSW and Sydney Water safety requirements and standards
• Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, and manage corrective actions
• Support project teams with SWMS reviews and JSA processes
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
• Build strong relationships with site supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives

About You

• Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator/Advisor on civil infrastructure projects
• Experience working on TfNSW and/or Sydney Water projects highly regarded
• Relevant safety qualifications (Cert IV in WHS or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of civil construction safety requirements and legislation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Current driver's licence and own vehicle essential - travel between sites required
• White Card and other relevant site tickets
