As a Parts & Service Sales Representative based in Sydney, you will be a highly motivated sales resource driving the sales of parts, service, remanufactured components, and Kalmar Insight solutions. Reporting to the Spare Parts Manager, you will work closely with customers to increase aftermarket sales, establish relationships with new Kalmar equipment owners, and maximize potential business across your territory.

What Are Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Development: Create and convert parts sales contracts and Kalmar Care opportunities into Essential Care or Complete Care agreements.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide an exceptional level of customer service by regularly visiting MEQ and Terminal sites, meeting with purchasing and maintenance stakeholders to promote the Kalmar Services offering.
  • Insight & Analytics: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Kalmar Insight application to track machine performance, comparing actual parts sales to potential sales based on equipment utilization.
  • Market Strategy: Gather competitive price information in the market and feed it back to the parts organization to help develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Internal Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with regional service managers and the equipment sales team to ensure a consistent approach to customer profiling and achieving sales and profit targets.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Qualifications & Background: You hold Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications, a valid driver's license, and have a strong background in mobile or heavy equipment.
  • Proven Sales Experience: You have a demonstrated track record in sales, with the ability to effectively communicate, track prospects, and meet targets.
  • Proactive Attitude: You are a career-focused self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, highly motivated to achieve timetables and deliver results.
  • Customer Focus: You have a strong commitment to providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times and acting as a strong communicator.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are highly proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and possess an above-average ability to learn new tools and applications.
