We are seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers who are passionate about making a positive impact. About The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our participants with their daily routines, fostering independence, and creating a safe and engaging environment within our Casa SIL Houses or Day Program. This position involves hands‑on support, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience in manual handling, personal care, and managing complex behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Sound computer skills, including the ability to work with a variety of software programs.
  • Valid Driver’s License, NDIS Worker Screen Clearance, Police Clearance, Working with Children's Card (WWCC), and evidence of the right to work in Australia.
  • COVID vaccination

Desirable

  • Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent.
  • Mental Health experience
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.
