St John of God Bunbury Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive

Business Development Coordinator to play a key role in strengthening relationships with General Practitioners (GPs), supporting specialist engagement, and enhancing referral pathways across our hospital services.

This role will see you working closely with GPs, Practice Managers, Specialists and internal stakeholders to promote SJGHC services, coordinate educational initiatives and ensure an exceptional onboarding experience for newly accredited specialists.

The role is offered on a Permanent Part-time basis, working 22.8 hours per week.

The Position

  • Creating and implementing a GP engagement plan to promote SJGHC services and support referral growth.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with GPs, Practice Managers and primary care organisations.
  • Coordinating GP education activities, events and RACGP accreditation requirements.
  • Supporting the delivery of GP engagement forums, reference groups and specialist events.
  • Developing communication strategies that increase awareness of SJGHC specialists and services.
  • Managing and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and communications database.
  • Monitoring and analysing engagement outcomes, referral activity and stakeholder feedback.
  • Coordinating the onboarding and orientation process for newly accredited specialists.
  • Collaborating with Medical Administration, Credentialing, Nursing and support services to ensure a seamless specialist onboarding experience.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engagement and onboarding processes.

The successful candidate will have experience managing GP education programs and an understanding of RACGP accreditation processes, supported by strong event coordination capabilities and awareness of contemporary and emerging trends in healthcare and clinical practice. You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and negotiate outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you will bring experience in data analysis and reporting, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. A proactive, organised approach to delivering outcomes will be essential for this role.

A valid Australian Driver’s Licence will be required for this role.

  • Salary: $105,044 to $108,868 per annum (pro-rata) plus 12% superannuation
