Infrastructure & Assets Business Support Officer

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and customer-focused Infrastructure & Assets Business Support Officer to join our Planning, Infrastructure & Environment team at Launceston Airport.
This role is the administrative backbone of the Infrastructure & Assets function, providing broad support across project administration, facilities coordination, finance administration and office operations. Working closely with Project Managers, facilities leads and the broader team, you will play a key role in helping deliver capital projects, maintenance activities and business operations efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing project administration support including document control, records management, meeting coordination, correspondence and reporting.
- Supporting facilities and maintenance activities through administration, contractor coordination, data entry, D365 administration and record keeping.
- Assisting with financial administration including purchase orders, invoice processing, invoice matching and contract administration activities.
- Coordinating operational and office support functions including reception relief, calendar management, customer service support, access cards, permits and mail distribution.
- Supporting project governance processes through the preparation of reports, project documentation and gate approvals.
- Coordinating contractor administration and operational logistics, including security and airside access booking processes.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience in project administration, team coordination, facilities administration or similar business support roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine willingness to support others and contribute across a broad range of activities.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
- Experience with document control, reporting, financial administration and contractor coordination processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with exposure to Dynamics 365 or similar business systems highly regarded.
