Location: Office Based Role - Cairns, Australia.

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our global IT team, you'll provide second-line technical support to MAF staff across multiple countries and time zones, helping ensure our people remain connected, secure, and productive.
You'll Be Involved In
- Providing technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, endpoint devices, networking, and collaboration platforms.
- Investigating and resolving escalated technical issues while delivering an exceptional support experience.
- Supporting cybersecurity, identity and access management, and endpoint compliance.
- Assisting with system upgrades, deployments, and global IT projects.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles.
- Working closely with colleagues around the world to continually improve our IT services.
- Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across the global support team.
- Helping ensure our technology remains reliable, secure, and ready to support mission operations wherever MAF serves.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
What We're Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years' experience in IT support or systems administration
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows environments, and endpoint management
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Strong spoken and written English
Highly Regarded
- Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, CompTIA, VMware, or ITIL certifications
- Experience supporting cloud and hybrid environments
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls
- Experience with Intune, MS Defender, Jira/Confluence
- PowerShell or Python scripting
- Experience supporting international, mission, or not-for-profit organisations
