An established commercial builder specialising in premium fit-out and refurbishment projects is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join its growing delivery team.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the business, this is an opportunity to work on some of the most technically challenging and architecturally impressive projects in the country.

You'll be involved in delivering high-end retail, hospitality and commercial refurbishment projects valued up to $14M, working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technically complex projects, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take the next step within a business committed to developing high-performing construction professionals.

The Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role throughout the delivery phase, supporting both the commercial and technical aspects of projects.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Coordinating design documentation and consultant deliverables
• Managing RFIs, shop drawings and design resolutions
• Supporting contract administration and commercial project outcomes
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
• Working closely with Project Managers to monitor programme, budget and project performance
• Providing technical support to site teams throughout construction
• Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve issues efficiently
• Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with programme, quality and contractual requirements

Ideally, You'll Have

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with a commercial builder
• Experience delivering commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or interiors projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and design coordination
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple project stages
• A proactive attitude and desire to continue developing your career
