About The Role
What if your years of advanced mathematical training could directly shape how AI reasons through the hardest problems in the world? We're looking for Mathematics Experts — Masters and PhD holders — to help build and refine the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll work asynchronously alongside world-class AI research teams, applying your deep expertise to problems that matter. No prior AI experience required — your mathematical mastery is what we need.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and depth
- Design complex problem statements drawing on expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for rigor, accuracy, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to identify gaps and improve model outputs
- Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of mathematical precision and depth
Who You Are
- Holder of a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deeply fluent in at least one core area: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Experienced with Python, MATLAB, Mathematica, or similar tools for research or computational work
- A precise, detail-oriented thinker who takes rigor seriously
- A clear and effective written communicator — you can explain complex ideas without sacrificing accuracy
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
- Background in applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, or quantitative research
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts as they relate to formal reasoning
- Experience writing or reviewing mathematical content for academic or technical audiences
